Candidate: Uche Onyia

Who are you?
I am Uche, an IT engineer who has a love for books, particularly creative literature, traveling and feels indebted to the city of Toronto for the rich multicultural influence. I enjoy the opportunity to mingle with different crowds from all nations on earth and feel that is one of the key reasons why Toronto is such a thriving and rapidly developing city.

Why are you running?
 I am running for City idol because I am a good orator and enjoy debating in current   issues and topics that affect the city I love, Toronto. I feel I can offer a realistic viewpoint and perspective on some of the problem issues that haunt Toronto, as I mix with people from different circumstances with a strictly observational purpose.

What should a City Councillor be?
A City Councillor should be someone who is interested in the general welfare of Toronto and has an invested interest in the constant positive development of the city of Toronto. It should be someone who is able to mirror the actual thoughts and ideals of the people without being clouded by some personal interest besides the improvement of the city as a whole.
